An 884Kg Automatic Elevator Rescue Device (ARD) is a safety system designed to operate during a power failure. When the main electrical supply is interrupted, the ARD activates automatically using a backup power source, usually batteries or an inverter. It safely moves the elevator car to the nearest floor at a controlled speed and opens the doors, allowing passengers to exit without panic or danger. This system prevents people from being trapped inside the lift for long periods. ARDs are commonly installed in residential buildings, hospitals, malls, and offices to enhance passenger safety and comply with modern elevator safety standards and regulations worldwide.
